a portata di mano sia i luoghi di maggior interesse architettonico
(Duomo, S. Placido, Palazzo Biscari, Anfiteatro Greco, ecc.), sia
la più ampia gamma di offerta per lo svago, lo shopping ed
il divertimento Le ambientazioni della nostra abitazione richiamano l'atmosfera della casa della nonna. I mobili in arte povera, le ceramiche artigianali, gli oggetti della Sicilia contadina, tutto da noi parla di storia, di tradizione, di nostalgia per la vita semplice di una volta. Pur riscoprendo il fascino della tradizione, non vi mancheranno certo i comforts di casa vostra: l'attico è dotato di ascensore di ultima generazione e di due ampie terrazze di circa 100 mq, dove prendere il sole, consumare i pasti all'aperto e soprattutto godere un panorama unico, con vista sul mare, sull'Etna e sul centro storico. Le camere sono ampie luminose, silenziose e con vista. Alcune si affacciano direttamente sul mare e tutte hanno il proprio bagno privato al piano. Le camere sono dotate di TV, frigobar e condizionatori. La cucina in muratura poi, con due piani cottura, vi consente di poter preparare i vostri pasti in totale autonomia. |

| It is at 5 km from the airport, at 1 km from the
railway-station and at 100 metres from the sea, right in the heart
of the commercial, cultural, historical centre of the city. The strategic
position of our home allows to have at hand both the most interesting
architectural monuments (the Cathedral, Biscari's Palace, St. Placido's
Church, the Greek Theatre, and so on) and the widest range of offers
for the spare time, shopping and entertainments. Right close to us
there's the most important commercial street of the city, the old
"Via Etnea", rich of shops, bars and night-clubs. And for
those who look for some society-life, the historical centre at night
swarms of movement with a great number of pubs, restaurants, cinemas,
theatres and night -clubs in Piazza Teatro Massimo, even closer to
our Bed & Breakfast. Our home recalls the atmosphere of "grandmother's house". The woody furniture, the handcraft ceramics, the typical Sicilian objects, all speaks about tradition, history, love for simple life of old times. Even if you will rediscover the charme of tradition, you won't miss the comforts of your house: the attic is provided with a modern lift and two wide terraces of about 100mq, where you can bask in the sun, have your meals open doors and above all enjoy a wonderful landscape with view on the sea, overlooking Etna and the historical centre. Our rooms are wide, bright, quiet, with a marvellous view. Some of them look directly over the sea and all of them have a private bathroom at the floor. The rooms are endowed with TV, fridge and air conditioned. The comfortable kitchen in brickwork with two cooking planes allows to prepare the meals in perfect autonomy. |
